About me

Mia Ribeiro Alonso is a Berlin-based creative professional with a BFA in Creative Writing from Pratt Institute. She brings considerable experience in editorial content creation, project coordination, and collaboration across disciplines. Mia has contributed to renowned publications like Arts of The Working Class and has worked with and assisted independent reputable publishers like Fonograf Editions.

Her work spans writing, curation, and community engagement, including co-founding Velvet Zungue, a Berlin-based collective leading interdisciplinary art workshops.

As well as proving to be adaptable in different settings and objectives, she has been commissioned to design, write, and edit projects such as a student handbook for Pratt Institute's Berlin exchange program.

Alonso's interests include music writing, literature, fine arts, curation, graphic design, and much more. Blending her passions into cohesive, impactful projects.
